Rob: Hey, what is up, Rob and Corinne here, welcome to ThreadHeads. A couple of weeks ago, kittycatfacehead wrote this comment on youtube. Male: I heart you guys? You barely tapped into the diy scene in Austin though!. Female: Kittycatfacehead, you are right. There is so much interesting stuff going on there, here is an Austin base clip signed in from Allegra, our photo booth production. (Music playing) Female: Joey Miller and I am the owner of Vain Salon, that is located at 1803 Chicon. Vain Salon have been about eight months ago. Our purpose is to have fun, do great hair and treat somebody for good causes. And doing fashion tips is our passion so we always really enjoy getting together and having fun, designing hair with clothing. Rob: Allegra, that was awesome. We will give you a regular spot on the show. Now, over to the cling on the forums. Corinne: This week we found a great Thread by maddanevain17 called DIY Haircuts. She writes, “So I just emerged from my bathroom, where Mr. Scissors and I waged the war of my unruly hair. Mr. Scissors, it is time.” It is the first time I did not work out $20.00 to go get it cut. And I was actually very impressed with the results. Why not save some money, and have a totally unique hairstyle made by you, for you, any thoughts? There were a lot of replies of personal haircut and stories. The Kate one is the most cookies for her before and after thoughts. And Coffee offered up the best of buddy by posting his hair, “it grows back.” Speaking of hair, we found some great video how to’s that you should definitely check out. (Commercial) Rob: Hey welcome back to the show. Last week, Aaron asked us how to make some style in ties. And if you notice, he’s wearing a pretty red shirt. Corinne: Suyamaru wrote in wondering, “how do you make it?” So, this week, your DIY wish is our command. Male: Hello Thread Bangers, this is a cool shirt I made but I just mixed this up and got three shirts. Let me show you how I did this. The first thing I did is I took off three shirt and land them on top of each other and make sure that they would lined up together. It seems to see of course of what I could. I then took a pair of scissors and cut out the M way I know, making sure to leave the collar of the shirt uncut. Then I just cut and did it an hour to make sure that the three shirts were cut out the same way. Different cuts of three shirts in three pieces, I took one piece of each shirt to make sure that they line up and will make one shirt and then turn them inside out and when I would pull them together I would pinch the two sides and I would put a needle just to make sure that I will be able to sew them. And then I took over it to my sewing machine and start sewing. And in reality, I tell you reconstruct the shirt in this three, I really like this, it looks pretty cool and the best part is I got one shirt and I got two extra shirts on me and I gave one to my brother and I will give the other one to my friend.
