Piers Cross: Hello, my beautiful ones. Welcome to a five minutes stress relief. These are your five minutes my friend, your time to press stop on this treadmill, this speeding car because the mind is like a speeding car, it races like a car on the motorway, on the freeway, speeding relentlessly. But when you stop even for five minutes we are able to relax, we are able to see that we are tired that we need a break, that we are deserving a rest. You are magnificent and you offer yourselves such gifts of love and kindness. Come into the body now. What I mean by that is feel sensations that you feel here, now. Don't think, “Oh, I feel this I feel that.” Feel it, come, close your eyes. Just be aware of how the body feels, How do you feel now? What usually happens is when something challenging comes up, we feel it in the body, but then we go into the mind and the mind reacts, it tells us, “It shouldn’t be this way, I don't like this. I can't stand this I can't cope.” That is extra my friend. All we can truly do in these situations is just to be in the body, be in the sensations of how it feels. The feelings our buttocks on the floor, our feet on the ground, the ache in our shoulders, the pain in our hearts and when we hold that space, we hold that place with kindness, with attention, we realize that it is not so bad and at times, maybe we cry, maybe we scream and but that is okay. Why should we judge ourselves and say we can't cry, we can't feel this? Whatever we need to feel, we need to feel. When someone we love goes away, do we just sit quietly and feel this feeling of the wrenching of the person leaving us and allow the tears to flow or do we keep in busy, ignore this feeling, push it down? Now when you cry these tears, we have released it from the body that is why it is very important to come into the body, to feel our limbs and the sensations. When we feel fear, where do we feel it? Is it in the belly, in the solar plexus or the heart? Is it in the throat? Wherever it is, allow that feeling just to be. I am not judging, I am not adding these internal dialogs which make the situation worse. You are doing magnificently well. You really are. So these are your five minute stress relief, congratulate yourself, embrace yourself, you are at magnificence, maybe well.
