Roger Lee

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Roger began cycling at the age of 12. He put his enthusiasm for cycling aside for several years during a string of successful seasons as a track & field sprinter, earning a trip to the California State High School championships and multiple city titles. Since then, he's moved on to become an integral part of the UC Santa Cruz Cycling Team, mentoring beginning cyclists into the sport and establishing the Roger Lee Foundation. During his time at UC Santa Cruz, Roger also headed the UC-Links After-School Program that assisted and mentored local school children in their academic and extra-curricular endeavors. Soon after, he took his experience to the professional circuit, managing the Webcor Builders Professional Cycling Team. Currently, Roger floats in and out of retirement and spends his days between rides at a Bay Area internet marketing company where he regularly consults his coworkers about their health, fitness and yes, cycling.
