Casey Nicholson

Bio: My name is Casey and I am a Graduate of Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, MI. I double majored in Creative Writing and Two Dimensional Art. I have been married for a year and a half now and I currently reside in Yokosuka, Japan with my husband who is a member of the united states navy. I am currently working for CD Virtual Services which doesn't pay a lot but it pays me for writing and that is what I love about it.  I get to write on a variety of topics and learn about it while I do!  I am also writing articles on animals and hoping to get them in various magazines.  I will have an article on military shelters coming out in the July/August issue of Animal Sheltering. I just recently got my first piece published in a book of nonfiction, entitled BombShells. I mainly love to write short shorts, or flash fiction as some like to call them. I do hope to get the ambition to write a book someday.  I am working on one right now, so hopefully I will finish it before I die! Honestly though, I love any and all writing!! I love music and movies, and animals, and spending any time I can with my husband! I love going to concerts! I also volunteer at our military shelter here and could not dream of ever doing anything else.  I love the idea of giving myself to animals since they do not always have a choice. I also have 2 cats named Levi, who is 4 and Stretch, who is 6.  I absolutely LOVE dogs and I am really hopeful to get one sometime in the next few years.

Inspiration: I draw inspiration from life mostly. I get a lot of great ideas from my family! Of course my own life plays a big part. My husband and I have moved across the world! That could inspire anyone!
