Liz lives and works in Chicago, IL, and is pleased to be able to contribute to the HowToDoThings website. A graduate from Augustana College with a B.A. in Philosophy, she has always enjoyed writing, and she hopes her readers enjoy her quirky sense of humor mixed in with all the useful information. She is a new mother to a beautiful daughter, Ella, who is her little angel and definitely "Daddy's girl!"

My inspiration is a friend of mine who writes reviews for movies, theatre, and arts for my hometown's alternative paper, The River Cities Reader. He has an incredibly astute and inventively amusing style to his writing that always makes his articles very entertaining to read. If I can be even half as witty and brilliant with my words as he with his, I will be happy!
