I suppose if you're here you would like to know a little about me. My name, as you can see, is Mary DeVine. I was born in 1978. I am a life long resident of Washington State. I have a BA in English from the University of Portland. Those are the mundane facts of my life.
These are the more tantalizing ones: I am passionate about beauty in all forms. And I don't mean just a little side-hobby-when-I-have-time kind of love. I mean an all-out, old-fashioned passion for all things beautiful. In order to feed this all-consuming passion, I work for Make-Up Artist Magazine. Some of the many hats I wear there are copy editor, copywriter and proofreader. Beyond my work at the magazine, I am a self-taught beauty connoisseur (if reading, writing, and discussing beauty on a daily basis with everyone I know can be called self-taught). I am also an artist of many mediums. I believe that our lives are works of art and must be fashioned accordingly.
