My name is Michael Pollick, and I'm a musician and writer currently living in the Deep South. I'm originally from the Kent State University area of Northeastern Ohio. Although I was born in Akron, Ohio in 1964, almost all of my people are from the Western Pennsylvania area, around Kittanning and Pittsburgh.
In my spare time I enjoy singing karaoke (someone has to), playing the organ for a rural Methodist church, and writing poetry. Many of my poems have been published over the years, including one in a major political poetry anthology called Will Work for Peace. I have been married to a native Southern girl named Amy for ten years, and we have a rather large guinea pig named Chantilly. Amy is also a professional writer and works for the local newspaper.
