Hailing from the Deep South, I make my home in Montgomery, Alabama. From 1990 to January 2007, I worked in the teleconference industry in a number of client related positions. My work has allowed me to rub shoulders with a wide range of folks, from industry moguls to local churches who needed help putting together a ministry to shut-ins. In just about 99% of my experience, my clients have been among the most decent, professional and engaging of people. We won't dwell on that other one percent.

Beginning in January 2007, I made the move to writing full time for a living. Thus far, the experience has been an excellent one.  Among the most exciting aspects of my new life as a full time writer has been the chance to research all sorts of topics and learn about many new things.  No day is exactly like the one before, and there is always an anticipation of things to come.  Writing can be many things, but it is never boring.

I'm one of those weird people who have a mind for trivia. Ask me about old television shows or the chart positions of most sixties groups and I can rattle them off pretty easily.

With that character trait in mind, it is only natural that I enjoy writing web content. It doesn't matter whether the subject is one that I already know something about, or a topic that has piqued my interest. Either way, I get the chance to learn new things, revisit topics I may not have thought of in years, and just in general have fun doing it.
