Mary Ellen Tuccillo

Mary Ellen Tuccillo holds a B.S and M.S. in geology and a Ph.D. in environmental science. She has extensive experience in various aspects of university life, such as dorm life, undergraduate and graduate research, and obtaining grants. As a scientist, Mary Ellen has worked continuously with computers and stays up to date on software developments. Both for pleasure and as part of her training as a geologist, Mary Ellen has cumulatively spent months in the field hiking and camping in various kinds of terrains. She has also spent time traveling in Europe. In her free time, Mary Ellen enjoys playing the piano, which she has studied since the age of 10. She has participated in competitions, given recitals, and has enjoyed playing with other musicians, both for an audience and informally. Mary Ellen also began hand stamping two years ago and enjoys making hand-made cards.
