Amy Bender is a freelance writer who has written articles, books and web content on a variety of subjects. Prior to making the career change to writing, Amy was a public relations consultant for several animal welfare agencies. This position allowed her to learn a great deal about animal care and behavior. She also owned and operated All Four Paws, a dog training business designed to help pet owners create a strong bond with their pets using only positive reinforcement methods.
Amy lives in Rhode Island, and shares her home with her husband, twin daughters, a dog, a cat, and a bunny. When she isn't spending time with her family or writing, Amy loves traveling, reading romance novels, and hiking.
