I hold a computer science degree from Skidmore College and have had a small computer programming firm for about 10 years. Prior to this I worked as a researcher so I am adept at locating a resource either online or offline on a variety of topics, including medical research. I enjoy reading and writing about non-computer topics when I cannot stand looking at computer code anymore.
My interests include fashion and beauty tips, decorating, gardening, cooking, frugal shopping, reading, how to do it yourself books, internet and travel. I am also interested in simple things you can do to improve your health such as tips for diet and exercise that are not difficult to implement but make a big difference.
My expertise in non-secular areas comes from reading extensively and the fact that I really enjoy finding ways to do something yourself. If you can find a way to do something yourself and save some time and money, I think it is worth learning, so I read all that I can find on various topics in health, beauty, haircare, decorating, cooking, crafts, and a variety of do it yourself ideas for weddings, parties, and how to fix things yourself.
