Remember though, that it will take a few weeks for the frog or toad to acclimate to its new environment.

Frogs or toads may be just what your outdoor pond habitat needs. If this is the case, just be sure that you are introducing frogs or toads that are native to the area. This is important because of the decreasing populations of these interesting creatures and the havoc on their populations should other species of frogs and toads be introduced that will eat the native ones or that carry diseases.
