Okay, it is in the garage, for a way too long—months, and so I need to fix this flat tire and that is the reason I have not riding my bike. I have never done this before but I do have complete confidence that I can manage this task.
I bought myself a simple little tire repair kit. But, let us begin, this thing is tear off. I think that is pretty easy, we get this thing done here. We take off this nut and let me assume that the bike tire will come right up. There we go, alright.
Step 1—take the tire off the bike.
Step 2—take the tubing out of the tire. Now we need to find the hole. Okay, it is not obvious, do not look for it anyway. Then we need to fill the tire with air and then see if we can see the hole. We can see the hole if we put it in the water then let us see if we can see the hole. Okay, let us go to the air compressor.
So, not everybody has an actual air compressor, I am quite aware of it. But you know what, all gas stations do, so you can just go there and they have air and water. This is something that you can take in your car when you go to gas station. Alright, flat the air in it. I do not see a hole. Hey, we need a bucket of water now.
I found it! Look, little bubbles coming right here, okay. How cool is that. It is a really tiny spot.
That means to say that we have to dry up the tire but it is a tiny hole, I want to look and see it again. So do you know what I am going to do? I have my glass right now and I am going to take this green marker and just draw a circle around it so I know exactly where the problem spot is.
So now the instruction say, take your spot and try to brilliantly, mark it and here it is and then sand it in the middle of the pile spot thing. Okay and I take this some mange, just one of those glues, pull out the cap, and puncture the top, just quite standard. Then just put this all the way around it.
Alright, I think it is dried completely. Now, it says take a little patch, standard in half, see, so we can remove the backing, do not touch the patch is says and then place it right there, can you see? There we go, start form the center and press outward and firmly attach the patch to the side.
There we go, we are off. We are ready to use this to my tire and put more air in it. And, then we put the bike back and get it the way we took their part, it is actually that easy.
I am just taking it right back inside the frame, inside the frame and then we will be ready for air. Put this thing back in, put this frame in and there we go, a little nut. Perfect, I think I am going to walk it on and I am ready to ride my bike again.
