God Does Love You

You might have stumbled upon this article on the Internet, received it from somebody or you were deliberately looking for such an article to soothe your low spirit. I want to assure you that God loves you and that He intends a good life for you. You might have been through the ups and downs of this world, you might be abandoned by the people you relied on or you might have some feelings that have thrown you into isolation. Take heart! I am here to tell you that God indeed loves and cares for you. But you are only human, and would like to have evidence or at least an assurance that He does. Here are some tips to help you understand that God loves you:

  1. He created you. You don't draw a picture that you don't like, neither do you write an article that you don't adore. (That's why I like all the articles I have written for HowToDoThings, from the first to the last.) My point is that God created you without being ordered by anybody. He willingly made you and the Bible says, 'and God saw that what He had created was good,' including you. He had an option to create something else, but He decided to create you. You might face situations in life that will make God look as if He does not care anymore. Remember that He who watches over you does not sleep or slumber. He is there to watch over you. Just as you cannot give birth to children and abandon them, so God will never forsake you. He loves you--he created you and will be there for you when you call Him.

  2. He forgives all your iniquities. Despite all the sins and evil that you unknowingly or deliberately engage in, God is ready to forgive you when you own up and repent. He is a merciful God and he only punishes those not ready to turn. Remember God was able to forgive the people, Nineveh, even though their sins had reached God. Prophet Jonah gave them an ultimatum of forty days to repent or perish. It was their humility and repentance that God considered when he pardoned them. So God loves us all and is ready to forgive anytime we humble ourselves and ask for forgiveness. If you have done something bad and were thrown in jail, or you are reading this article but you are wallowing in the miasma of rejection and hate, remember God is there for you. In fact, He sent Jesus to deliver those in such a state. Take heart, people of God--He loves and is ready to forgive all your sins if you repent.

  3. He redeems your life from destruction. If it were not for God's love, you would not be reading this article--you would be long dead. Remember the day the gunman confronted you or remember that freaky accident and that narrow escape from a disease that nearly killed you. God has spared you from the grave and makes sure that you will only die when your time is due. Premature death shall not be your portion, say amen. You will live a full life and share in the goodness of God. Because He will continue to protect you so long as you continue trusting in Him. If you know any righteous men/women around you, tell them God says it shall be well with them.

  4. He satisfies your mouth with good things. How many things do you own that you realize you didn't even deserve? Some are beyond your efforts but you manage to own them anyway. You speak peace when people are disturbed and sing hosanna when things are not good. You have faith in God and that has given you the grace and all the favor you need in this life. Have faith in God and know that he loves you and shall never forsake you. Thy life shall be full of good tidings. For them that trust in the Lord shall be like Mount Zion, they shall never be shaken. For God loves them.

God is not a man that He should lie.  He says in His word that whatever thoughts He has are good thoughts for us, thoughts of prosperity and a good life.  Amen
