You must have gone through different recipes for a lamb leg roast, but I guarantee you that you will find this recipe the best of all. This is a Pakistani traditional recipe.
Ingredients:
- Onion, 1 large
- Garlic, 15-20 cloves
- Ginger, 1 inch piece
- Green chillies, 15-20
- Vinegar, ¼ cup
- Lemon juice, 4 tbsp
- Cumin seed (roasted), 1 tsp
- Cloves, 5-6
- Cinnamon, 1 stick
- Meat tenderizer powder, 1½ tsp
- Oil, 3 tbsp
Directions:
- Clean the lamb leg.
- On both the sides of the leg, apply a deep cut.
- Add all the ingredients in the blender, and blend them all to make a thick paste.
- Apply the paste onto the leg and marinate it for 3 hours.
- Wrap the leg and the mixture in aluminum foil tightly.
- Bake it for 1½ to 2 hours on 180˚C. If you have a numbered oven, then bake it on number 5.
- Serve it hot with sliced cucumber and onion.
