One's thinking divides the world into two areas : good and bad

Average rating:
Everything in the world is created by God or with his wish. Of course, God won't want us to call his creations bad in front of him. For that matter, he won't create anything "bad." What makes anything good or bad is our thinking and our perception.

Everything in this world is relative. Left is not left in itself. It is left because right is there. Had right not been there, there would have been no left. Morning is morning because night is there. Similarly, good is considered to be good only because bad is there. But, we all say and to an extent believe that whatever happens happens for good. That means, there is nothing bad. And if bad is not there, then how can good exist in the world. Hence, nothing is good or bad, our thinking makes it so.

Step 1:

There is nothing good or bad in this world. The only thing that is good or bad is that we think it is good or bad. Let's see it with this perspective: when things go according to us, i.e. right, we tend to take the credit. And when things don't go our way, we tend to blame other factors like God, our environment, recession, bad forces, etc. So, I would say, at a very macro level, good and bad are the terms just for our fancy. Our reality is entirely at the mercy of how our mind chooses to interpret incoming data. Reality is, in fact, a figment of our imagination. However, for the sake of convenience, we agree upon certain aspects of subjective reality.

Good and bad are the concepts invented by the human mind. Whenever some action takes place, who's the one to decide whether it's good or bad? It's us. And this decision is based on three factors:

  1. Internal morale of a person.
  2. Preconceived notion of an individual.
  3. Peer pressure and society.

When we are born, our mind is an empty book. You can fill whatever you want in it. These are the factors which do affect the content in that book. Its all a mater of how we perceive our actions and their outcomes. For e.g. a gathering in one place may seem to be a crowd, while at other place its an atmosphere. A terrorist for one nation is a freedom fighter for another. A night-out for some may be alright but for some - not. It all does depend on our thinking and generally, can't be classified as good or bad.

Remember, what you out is what you get back. Your outer world is a reflection of your inner thoughts. Your attitude decides your destiny. Its not pre-decided. When a child fails in an exam, it's his own thinking and perception of the outcome of his action which decides his future. It's on him whether he gets broken and stops studying, or he starts putting in more hard work to score better next time.

Just imagine, answer this question to yourself. If something was so bad that it should not have happened, why did God created the possibility of letting that thing happen? Or, do you think that there is something we, creations of God, do outside the realm of possibility that He created? Can you ever call your own creation bad? When you cook food, no matter how it tastes, to you its always the most delicious item you've ever tasted on this planet. And how do you feel when someone calls it bad in front of you? So imagine, how would God feel when you call his creation bad in front of him?

Thought is an action in rehearsal. So next time, before letting a negative thought enter your mind, just say SHUT UP to that thought. Repeat these words aloud, "THIS IS MY WORLD, MY KINGDOM. I AM THE RULER OF THIS WORLD. YOU CAN'T ENTER IT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. HOW THE HELL CAN YOU DISTURB ME WHEN I DON'T WANT TO BE DISTURBED." And trust me; in the meantime everything will be fine.

There are only two P's required to set everything straight in life: Positive thinking and Patience. If you have these two in enormous amounts, everything in life will turn out to be better sooner or later. All the best. Keep smiling.
