How To Do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: Standing to ground arm lock

  1. Your opponent pushes.

  • Push your foot against your opponent's knee.
  • Immediately sit yourself onto the floor. At the same time pull your opponent's arms towards you, while pushing his leg away.
  • Now grab hold of his arm with both of your hands, in order to reinforce your hold on the targetted arm.
  • Wrap your leg around your opponent's arm and tuck your foot under his chin. Straighten your leg and pull your opponent's arm against your thigh for an arm-bar.
