Getting rodeo tickets can be difficult, especially for really popular rodeos such as the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

The best way to make sure that you are able to get tickets to all of your favorite rodeos is to make a schedule of all the rodeos that you would like to go to. You can do this by checking out the websites of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association (PRCA), the Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA), and/or the websites of any of your local rodeo associations. Most states have their own rodeo association, and most rodeo associations have a website with a schedule of events.

The PRCA and the WPRA are both national rodeo associations that put on rodeos nationwide. To get to tickets to these rodeos, it is best to contact the association well in advance and ask them if you can reserve tickets. Most rodeo associations will allow you to purchase tickets well in advance.  The PRCA and the WPRA usually put on rodeos together, so their schedule of events is typically the same.

If you want to stick to rodeos within your own state, try doing a Google search for "rodeos" plus "your state." Some rodeo associations, such as the Northwest Professional Rodeo Association (NWPRA) hold rodeos in the Northwest states only. This association puts on rodeos in Oregon, Washington and northern California.

Every county has a county fair, and almost every county fair has a rodeo. Another way to get tickets to rodeos in advance is to find out when each county in your state is having its annual fair and then order tickets in advance. You can usually find out when a county fair will be taking place by doing a Google search, or by contacting someone connected to county government.  Feed stores and tack stores often sell rodeo tickets to county fairs and local rodeos, so checking in with your feed store is a good place to find out about rodeos and how to get tickets for them.

Finally, a lot of high schools and colleges put on rodeos, so contact the colleges and high schools in your area could help you find out about rodeos in advance. If your local high school has a rodeo team, call the high school to find out how you can purchase tickets in advance. Similarly, colleges often have rodeo teams, so contacting colleges in your state is a good way to find out about rodeos and how to get tickets to those.
