How To Get Zune on Linux

For Linux users who own Microsoft Zune MP3 players, compatibility has always been a problem. With a little work however, it is possible for you to sync your Zune to your computer, even if you happen to be using the Linux operating system. What you’ll need to do is use VMware, a program that allows you to run another operating system within your standard operating system. Don’t worry, this isn’t complicated at all, but you may need to spend some money as VMware is not a free program. You will need a USB 1.1 hub as well, but the good news is that they aren’t expensive.

How To Share iPod Music with Another Computer

For quite some time I hoped for a way to share my iPod music with friends on other computers than my own.

I came across an interesting article that went into great detail about how to use your iPod as a storage device or other drive. This turned out to be disastrous.

I knew the concept was a good one, so I searched for a program that would do it all for me.

I came across the 100% free program - SharePod.

Before beginning this tutorial, there are a few things you need to know:

How To Bluetooth MP3s to Your Phone

This will not work if you do not have Bluetooth capabilities on both your phone and your computer. I would also recommend that you use audio software to minimize your MP3 so that it is between 5-40 seconds long – putting the entire song on your phone will take up a lot of space. Also, be sure to do a save, as when saving the MP3, so you do not save over the original MP3 file. Now, let’s get started.

How To Record Your Own Music on Your Home PC

It's not as difficult as you might think to make your own recordings on your computer. You need to have a good soundcard, a digital recording audio program and a fairly good microphone. These are items that you can find at your favorite computer store. The microphone should be a good quality microphone for recording voice or instrument and not a headset microphone or the like.

If your PC does not have a good soundcard, get one and install it. Actually most PCs (or Macs) already have a good sound card. You may need an adapter for your microphone to change the size of the plug from quarter inch to mini, which most soundcards accept. Plug your microphone in and find the mixer software that came with the sound card. You will have to switch your microphone on and play with setting the level.

Install your audio program and set up for recording.

How To Download a Shakira Ringtone To Your Phone

The first thing you need to decide when trying to download a Shakira ringtone is whether you truly want a ringtone, or you want a real version of the song. Ringtone has become synonymous with any music coming for your phone when it's ringing, but most companies differentiate between a ringtone (a muzak version of Hips Don't Lie by Shakira for instance) and a "real tone" (as Verizon calls its real music ringtones-Shakira's voice, music, lyrics and all). You don't want to pay $2.99 per song just to end up with your cell phone's version of Hips Don't Lie instead of Shakira's version (if that's what you're expecting).
