How To Pay:

You have a two options when paying for your onboard expenses. You will have to decide this prior to embarking on your cruise.

  1. You can settle your account with your credit card.
  2. You can put down a cash deposit on your account when boarding the ship (once this deposit has been used another deposit will be required to activate your onboard account again).
  3. Prior to your cruise you can add money onto your onboard account by purchasing an onboard credit. This can help you budget for your cruise as well.
  4. Prior to your cruise some of the cruise lines will allow you to pre-pay your gratuities which will also help reduce your onboard bill.

Below is a list of the cruise lines' websites where you can find all the tipping guidelines. ** Most of the cruise lines have listed the tipping guidelines under their Frequently Asked Questions section, however you will find no mention of tipping on Norwegains' website unless you look at their Welcome Aboard booklet. Also, Cunard does not have tipping information online.

Now that you know the facts you are ready to take your cruise vacations.

Bon Voyage.
