Adriana Deben

Bio: Adriana Deben is an experienced freelance corporate writer, writing and publishing web site content for a variety of clients as well as internal articles for such clients as MasterCard, Xpand Communications, Top Tier Talent and Training and more. Previously, Adriana was responsible for Internal Communications for MasterCard Latin America and Caribbean region. Under this role she wrote and edited all employee-related and executive communications, information communications, averaging a total 100 articles yearly. Prior to joining MasterCard, Deben worked as a producer for several pan-regional production companies where she scripted and produced television pilots, coordinated the production of English and Spanish television shows such as VH1’s Driven and Telemundo’s reality shows. In addition, Deben was the Communications/Promotions Coordinator for Telefutura Network, sister station to Univision Network. In this position, she developed promotions based on demographics studies, qualitative and quantitative viewership research for Latin American and pan-regional audiences. She has written freelance articles for the Miami Herald, The Beacon, My MasterCard and more. She holds a double bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Art History from Florida International University and in Florence, Italy. Deben is fluent in Spanish and English. She lives in Barcelona, Spain with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys sports, traveling and the arts.

Inspiration: My inspiration is a well-written, captivating article - one that leaves you wanting more. When I read an article or book that I just can't put down - that is my inspiration to be a better writer. I'm also inspired by the arts - photography, paintings, sculpture - anything that is open for interpretation and contemplation. Lastly but most importantly, I am inspired by my husband - he inspires me to be great.
