My inspiration was born out of turning my own adversity and pain into something positive to help others. Having felt so alone and isolated after my own miscarriage, I knew it was time to help other women who were feeling the same. It didn't happen overnight. Actually, it took eleven years before I heard a small 'voice' telling me it was time to do something proactive.

After writing a small ebook about miscarriage, healing and recovery back in 2001, I decided it was time to take my message of hope and healing after miscarriage a step further. Teaming up with Dr. Linda Backman, Psychologist and Grief Counselor for the foreword and opening chapters, I wrote a much longer and more useful paperback version of I Never Held You- a book about miscarriage, healing and recovery. This book includes gentle suggestions by Dr. Linda Backman on the grief process and what to expect. She also guides you through grief and assures you what you're experiencing is perfectly normal. Dr. Backman writes from the heart, having lost her son Adam after he was born at 26 weeks and lived for an hour on this earth.

I felt compelled to add many tools for coping and living after miscarriage to my book, including stories, positive affirmations, stress reduction techniques, and more.

MiscarriageHelp.com was launched shortly after my book was published, and each day is packed with inspiration. When a woman shares her heart, she inspires me to become a helpful, better person. My strength is derived from God. I know I am using one of the most painful times of my life as a source of strength to help others who are living it now.

I am inspired by those who touch my heart by sharing their stories of pain, loss, and hope after miscarriage, and thank God every day for giving me a platform to help others.
