Janelle is a Certified Massage Therapist. She attended massage therapy school in Sacramento, CA where she completed her program with honors &as a student mentor. She was also nominated by her class to speak at graduation. Janelle plans on attending a four year university and eventually graduate school where she will expand her knowledge in alternative medicine and become a naturopathic physician. She is currently starting her own business at the age of 19.
Janelle was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (FMS) in 2002 when she was just 14. Fibromyalgia is very uncommon at that age. Still, Janelle fought to maintain and enjoy her childhood and early adult years despite her debilitating condition. Janelle is the third generation in her family to be diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and she has shattered the image that people with FMS cannot live normal, happy &healthy lives. Janelle's diagnosis is what lead her to massage therapy. Becoming a massage therapist has pushed Janelle to build new boundaries for herself &to help her discover her own life that will not be defined by Fibromyalgia. She plans to help others achieve this philosophy by focusing her massage &alternative medicine to helping people suffering with FMS.
Janelle's inspiration stems from her agile mind &her hunger for knowledge. "I am capable &will execute great things that my generation can be proud of."
