Jody Dillon

Bio: An engineer by qualification, a parent by privilege and a small business owner by accident! Having graduated from University College Dublin in 1998 with a masters degree in electrical engineering, I have worked in the field of renewable energy for 10 years. I am married with two young children. Motivated by a lack of quality educational toys available in Ireland, I started WoodenToys.ie in 2006 and we'd like to think we've brought something positive to the lives of our customers' children in the time since then.

Inspiration: I believe raising children is an awesome privilege and responsibility. My own journey has taught me that the right way isn't always obvious and that usually, it is an awareness of very simple truths, not necessarily obvious ones, that can make the difference between constructive parenting and not so constructive parenting. I have a passion to share some simple things I've learned that can have a huge impact on our children.
