I have been selling real estate in Las Vegas since 1983. Prior to joining Prudential Americana in January of 2005, I was at Century 21 for more than 16 years and was ranked #1 in the state of Nevada and the Southwest Region for sales, as well as placing in the top 20 of all agents nationally. I decided to make the move to Prudential Americana because of Prudential’s advanced technology in the Las Vegas marketplace and the company’s commitment to quality service. After being with Prudential less than a year, I was ranked in the top 10 in the US for total homes sold out of more than 63,000 agents nationwide.
I worked for more than 15 years as an individual Las Vegas real estate agent. But with the fast pace of technology and the increasing desire of clients for 24/7 service, I realized that no one agent could provide an immediate response to everyone's needs. And so the Tonnesen Team was born, with individuals specializing in different areas of the real estate transaction to make sure all clients received the attention they deserved. I currently have 16 full time agents, a full time team manager and a full time transaction administrator to assist my clients throughout the real estate transaction process.
I also maintain four award winning web sites in addition to numerous neighborhood sites which generate over 900 new buyers every month in the Las Vegas market. Many of these buyers are international, as the Internet is now the chosen medium for over 77% of consumers looking to purchase real estate. Because of the extensive advertising exposure we are able to offer, my team is recognized as the premiere Internet specialists in Las Vegas and as top sales leaders in many of the booming new Las Vegas high rise condo projects going up around the Valley as well as traditional single family homes.
Currently I manage the team web sites and teach real estate sales, and conducts client work shops on the hot topics such as foreclosures, auctions and short sales.
