Write-Way founder, Robert "Bob" Pease, started his writing career while serving in the United States Air Force as a Public Affairs journalist. During the last 13 years of a 20-year career, Bob gained experience in writing and editing, media relations, community relations, and supervisory skills. During his last eight years, he served on a mobility team representing the first Public Affairs officer deployed to "hot spot" areas throughout the world -- first in, last out. His duties took him to Haiti, South Africa, Somalia, Bosnia, Germany, Hungary, Great Britain, France, Rwanda, Kenya, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Korea and Kuwait.

During Operation Desert Storm in 1991, Bob was dubbed the "most prolific Air Force writer of Desert Storm,” writing more than 200 feature news articles and bringing world attention to the remarkable feats of the A-10A Thunderbolt II aircraft, also known as "Warthogs" or "Tank Killers." Facing combat for the first time in their history, these aircraft destroyed more than two thirds of

's armor during Operation Desert Storm -- and Bob recorded every achievement in Air Force news releases and feature articles. In his Desert Storm community relations role, he also hosted such personalities as Bob Hope, Aaron Tippin, Thomas "Hit Man" Hearns, Johnny Bench and other personalities, including working with Walt Disney crews to tape "A Desert Storm Christmas."

After retiring from the Air Force, Bob joined the staff of Lightwave magazine at Pennwell Publishing where he quickly became the publication's Senior Technical Editor. He developed a knack for quickly understanding the optical telecommunication industry's many technologies and applications. During his tenure at Lightwave, Bob wrote and edited hundreds of special reports, features, and news articles -- becoming a recognized source of knowledge throughout the industry.

In March 2003, Bob left Lightwave to pursue a solo business career doing what he does best -- technical writing and editing. Believing that most companies today can save time and money by outsourcing these editorial projects to independent professionals, he launched Write-Way Independent Editorial Services LLC in April 2003.
