Bio: I am 48 years old, married to Greg, mother of 3 girls [Kate 26, Ashley 21 and Erica 16] We live in Wilmington North Carolina but are Massachusetts natives. I have 4 older sisters and 2 younger brothers. My Mother is living my Father is not. All of my family lives in Massachusetts. I have 2 ferrets [males] Sammy Tsunami and Rocky, a 1 yr old Jack Russell terrier named Andy and 3 Shebunkins [gold fish] that live in my pond. I am a published author, I wrote and published "American Ferrets" in June 2005 It is a how-to book on ferret care. [Available at all online book sellers] I am a cancer survivor [skin cancer] and I have chronic Lyme Disease since being bitten by an infected deer tick in 1993. I enjoy gardening, cultivating flowers on my patio, watching the hummingbirds in my yard and keeping an eye out for snakes [which I really do not like]. I enjoy writing, working on MySpace updates, updating my website [www.americanferrets.com] and sometimes I play The Sims2 [we have Seasons on my PC]. I like word puzzles, I make my own greeting cards and I am considering starting a business with my husband to sell sugar free products to folks with diabetes and sugar-restrictive diets.

Inspiration: What inspires me to write? A desire to share my knowledge with others, to teach and to learn. What inspires me in life? Being enriched by those who are less fortunate than myself. Learning from their life experience. Learning from my own mistakes and becoming a better person.
