Bio: I am a 30 year old mother, wife and green entrepreneur. I have spent 12 years in the field of elementary and early childhood education. I am a certified teacher and two classes shy of completing my Master’s degree in early childhood education. I am a passionate Shaklee Distributor and blog author and owner of http://greenandcleanmom.org I am keenly aware of the toxic dangers that surround my children and other children daily and this disturbs me greatly. I have become a self taught internet entrepreneur, marketer, writer, researcher and business coach. I spend countless hours researching, reading and learning about “green” issues that pertain to the future of my children and the environment. Helping other mothers learn about such complex, confusing and sometimes frustrating green issues is far more than a past time. I am many things but I am not a scientist, doctor, environmentalist or an official expert. I’m just a common person trying to make sense of a mixed up world and who strives to be the best role model I can to my children.

Inspiration: My inspiration is first and for most, my children and the way in which they view the world. They aren’t tainted and see things with such optimism and hope. I inspire to see things they way they do each day and live with such glee and enthusiasm. I am also inspired by the courage, hope and activism had my mothers, like myself, that want to make a difference. Knowing that I am not alone and have others with the same questions about “green” issues and toxins inspires me to keep doing what I am doing.
