This is a little Firefly Phone and we purchase for singular. Who we had our cell phone has been with. Of course, they have been bought by ATNT. ATNT is supporting our little phone. This is for our children. They are almost teenagers. They are spending more time away from my husband and I. We are able to have run some errand and we been home because they are old enough to take care themselves. But we want them to have an emergency phone. We do not have a landline, all we have is cellular service so unless we left our cell phone with them all the time they had no way of contacting anybody, they can make even call us because we only have one phone. So we got, we use second one.
Now this phone is little. It is fits in a pocket or backpack really easy. It has a little clip on it. It can be detached from the clip if they want. Now a wonderful thing about this phone is you program the numbers. My children cannot dial any number that is not program into this phone. There is a 911 feature that is the default number on there. You can program mom’s number. Dad’s number and whoever you want to assign to. The two buttons with the people icons at the bottom and the center is the phonebook icon. They can access more than 15 additional numbers than the two that are assigned on here. With you always know who are your children calling because they do not have the keys to dial.
They cannot call, just random numbers. You of course have this the green call button. The red and the call button, there is a display and the phone just light up. It does flash and make all kinds of neat little design there, which of course is not going to do sometime on video. I am enjoy the phone. My biggest problem with this phone and I have not been able to determine if this is just my phone or if it is a system issue. This phone will turn it self off even if there is charge in the battery. When it turns it self off it takes a up to five minutes to read the sim card. Now if my children where on a situation where they need to be in contact with me or the police department immediately, you know somebody was injured. They were kidnapped, you know a situations like that I do not like that particular of that because it takes so much longer for the phone to activate. So they can make that call.
