Hi! I’m Mark Donovan from homeadditionplus.com. And today, I’m going to show you how to adjust the sliding glass door so that it moves more freely in its door track. As you can see here, it takes a lot of effort to move this door back and forth. And we’ve already actually lubricated it to see if we could resolve the problem that way. What we’re going to do now instead is actually lower the door in the track so that it should slide more freely. So, the first thing we’re going to is using a common screw driver, I’ll remove the caps that allow us access to the adjustment screws to the door. And there’s two on the door, we’ll remove the second one, and then we’ll actually adjust the screws. Now that we’ve removed the caps, we just quire common screw driver into the door until we get onto the head of the head of the screw. And we’re just going to rotate counter clockwise about a half a turn to adjust the door down. And we’ll repeat on the other side of the door and then we’ll get the door a test. So now, that we’ve adjusted the door height, you can see that the door moves easily in the track. All we have to do is put the caps back on and this project would be finished. So, that’s all it took to resolve this sticking door problem. If you have any other home improvement questions, visit us at homeadditionplus.com today.
