“Band” essentially turns your iPhone into a mobile band. What it does is it gives you plenty of different options to play and record different types of instruments and prerecorded beats so that you can make your own song. What is cool about it is it has multiple different types of drums. You can play preset drumbeats or you can use the drum pad. The bass is available there. You can also use piano which I am awful at, but feel free to listen to the serenade that I am playing here. There is also guitar which is more riffs and prerecorded wails so it is not really playing it as independent as the bass but it still got a pretty cool feel to it. And, there is a lot you can really do with this, even for someone who does not have any true talent with music like myself. When you get into the little bonuses here and there like the audience sounds, it is really neat because you can really make it feel like whatever you recorded was alive event. I know that sounds cheesy but when you record something nice and you want to add your own feel to it and then save it and share with your friends, it is excellent. Plus, you can always use the audience sound to cheer on your friends if perhaps you have a concert and nobody shows up for it. Definitely check up “Band” if you like any of the virtual instrument software. It is definitely a great buy.
