We wanted to find out how strong Memory Press books really are. We couldn’t think of a better place to do it than in this Laundrymat. So what we are going to do is we are going to take this book and then stick it in the industrial dryer for 45 minutes. Let us see how it turns out. This book is held together by an emulsion coat polymer of internally plasticized poly vinyl acetate adhesive. I hope I said that right. In real people language, it just means Memory Press uses a super strong glue that literally fuses itself into the paper. This is like a hundred years of use, 45 minutes. It is almost painful to watch. Let us take a look at the book. As you can see, it is pretty beat up. the pages are really messed up but the book is pretty much held together, I can grab it by one page, there, and you can see the photos, actually look okay on it. The binding is doing all right. I mean, that is really what we are trying to test here, the book binding. The binding is okay, you can see right here, if you look closely. You can see the glue, starting to show up but it held together. It is going to last through your kids, your grand kids, and your great grand kids. Memory Press, has the strongest books that are available for family histories or personal histories. They are library certified. The question is, how long do you want your book to last?
