Learn about incorporating cardio in your workout regime to lose weight

I am Steve Turano welcome to this episode body performance. People wanted to know what the absolute minimal amount of cardio they need to do each week. Well this is not quite the right mind set that you should have. You should be mold to do what ever it takes to reach your goals and to re capture your body. Now Ken the answer is 30 minutes three times a week. But like anything the more you do, the better results you will get and cardio is no different, the more cardio you do, the more calories you will burn and the more weight you will lose. So if you do cardio three times a week for 30 minutes that is good, that is great. Now if you do it four times a week for 30 minutes that is even better. Five time a week for 30 minutes that is great. So there is no minimum amount you should be doing to achieve your goal. If you do it three times a week it will take you a little bit longer. Because remember about 30 minutes on the treadmill or 30 minutes walking outside is about 200 calories so three times a week at 30 minutes is about 600 calories burned. So in a bout five and a half weeks you will burn one pound that is why we say, watch your diet as well and the more cardio you may to do and work intensely you do it the more weight you will lose. So keep that in mind when you are trying to achieve your goal. The more cardio the better, the more cardio you do the more calories you will burn and more weight you will lose. Thanks for watching.
