Take a really serious look at the advantages of applying early action. These are the two circumstances under which you should apply early action. Number one, your safety schools, number two, your matching schools, you are not going to apply through your rich schools, you really do not want to be wasting your time doing that, there is too much competition out there. Here are the advantages, first of all, it is not binding. You do not have to go to those schools, so you can apply early action to as many of these schools as you want. Number two, you are going to be notified a lot earlier, usually before the holiday, so you are going to be going through your senior year a lot less stressful than your classmates who are going to have to wait until March or April to find out if they have been accepted.
