Welcome everybody, my name Corry Perkwin, I am coming to you live from BBGeeks.com. Last time though, we brought you the walked through of the facebook application for the blackberry. This time, we are going to get into ringtones. I am going to show you how to create your very own costume rings hones for your blackberry in 4 simple steps. The software that we are going to use is called DJ Tone Express, created by DJ Tone Inc. The reason we chosen the software it is because of the wide variety of audio formats that its supports, as well as to try before you by functionality. With being further a do, let us get into the video and let us make some great tones. The first step to creating your costume ringtone is to select the song or audio recording. Click the browse button in the lower right hand corner of your screen, and navigates to the desire audio file on your hard drive or an inserted audio CD. Once you have found the right file, click continue in the button right hand corner. The software is going to perform an analysis of your chosen file to determine that it is the right type and create an editable wave form. This will takes a couple of minutes. Now that we are presented with an editable wave form, we can select the portion that we want to create our ringtone from. To do this, you click and drag anywhere on your timeline and highlight the select area. For the purpose of the demo, I am going to be use the beginning of the song. If you wish to proper extend the length of your ringtone, just click on either the start tab or the end tab, and drag them to the left or the right accordingly. I am going to go with the longer ringtone so, we are going to stretch it right out to 30 seconds. Use the zoom button to enhance the view of the selected area. This makes easier to set a precise start and end point. So, we are going to zoom, you can see that you know much clearer view of your wave form. So, we will adjust it slightly, and pick the end point. Okay, if you have any trouble creating a clean end point or a clean beginning point, you can use one of the options of fade in or fade out. This will add a fade to the beginning or ending of your ringtone accordingly. For the purpose of this demo, I am going to go into fade out. That is it guys, that is all you need to do to create your costume ringtone. Click continue, and the bottom right hand corner, and the software will transform it into the correct format for your blackberry’s and other various cellphones.
