This week we show you how to have a DIY wedding with handmade Save-the-Dates. Weddings can end up all looking the same, so we give you a guide to help you make yours your own. Do-it-yourself and make your nuptials an individual and greener event.

Female: Why have you not updated to this data? Male: Just the bad things I have heard about it. Male: Today, I am going to show you in this, Mojave. Male: Well, that was pretty simple. I am actually blowing away, I am thinking I would like to have this. Female: Actually this is the stuff. Male: Really? Female: Hey everyone! Welcome to the last episode of décor it yourself, before we head out to the sunset and get married. Weddings going to end up all looking the same so we are going to show you how to make yours own. We are going to start up by showing you how to make your own D.I.Y. Save The Dates. Take some recycled card stock paper and a rich dark contact paper. Flip the contact paper over on to the back. Draw out the words, save the date and the date of your wedding on the back. Carefully cut your letters and numbers and place them on four different pieces of card stock. When you have your four pieces, you are ready to hit your local photo both. We went to our neighborhood bar Union Pool here in Brooklyn, New York. Bring a handful of quarters and singles and start snapping. Take a few strips to make sure you grab the shots you want. Take the strip or strips you like best and lay them out on a piece of paper. Tape them down to secure them and bring them over to your scanner. Scan your photos in and do any color correcting you need with Photoshop. Size and line your photos to four on one page. Using a postcard template create a page for the back of your save the dates. Write a nice simple greeting to your friends and family and be sure to have an area for the addresses. Print, cut and whala! You have made your first step to creating your own D.I.Y wedding. Do not go anywhere because we will be right back.
