One of the questions that I get to ask the most over and over again is do I have a 36 volt or a 48 volt, how do I determine that. Well, it is fairly simple, you just look at your batteries, you have to do this like once a month anyway, check the water level on your batteries, you are going to pull the top off and if you only have three fill holes right here then this means this is 6 volts battery. So everybody knows you got 6 volts, 6 batteries in their cart so s6 x 6 is 36 so just pull your top off. If you have three holes, it is a 6 volt battery. If your pull is off and you got four holes, it is an 8 volts battery and so 6 x 8 is 48 so that is simple. When installing accessories, just about all accessories are 12 volts and that could create a problem on electric carts, gas cart is a piece of cake, just hook it up directly to your battery and because all the gas carts are 12 volts sources, this right here is a club cart, 48 volts. And if you have 48 volt and you definitely going to need a reducer. This is our reducer that we have any volts to anywhere in the frame that you wanted to. When you order this reducer right here to reduce the 48 volts down to 12 volt source, you will get a complete line diagrams so this is easy to hook up no problems.
