[Music Playing] Indy Mogul Hey! I want to welcome you to another episode of Your Effects, the show where once a month, we highlight awesome special effects sent in by you. Let start it off with an awesome steadicam, created by Parker. [Music Playing] I am going to show you how to build a hand-held steady cam so your footage would not turn out like this! This is what you will need: 2 Lawnmower Wheels 2 ¼ inch Nuts Tripod Head I ft. PVC pipe with 6 sided end 1 3ft. Srewular Bar 1 ft. 1 in. diameter piece of wood 4 long zip toes The first step is to take you ft. long wood, drill a large hole in the middle into equal distance apart from the big hole. The next step would be to take your wheels and line them up with the smaller holes and then, take your lock ties and secure the wheel on to the board. Next, you are going to take you tripod head and insert it on the PVC. Then, you are going to take your PVC and bang it on top of the middle rod. Next, you are going to take both your metal rod and your wood. [Demo] And, insert the metal rod and insert it right there. And, there you go! Your completed hand-held steady cam. Without Steadicam [Demo] With Steadicam [Demo] Wow! That is pretty steady. And, now here is a montage of random cool clips send in by you. [Music Playing] CheesyMoviesPro Dan Monroe J.B. I am ErickOsBad again, this is Indy Mogul. Okay, so a couple of things that you are going to need. A pair of gel, some fake blood, toilet paper, and just some make up. Next, you want to take your hair gel. Squeeze not much on there. Take some water, just mix it around in there and take a little bit of that mixture and just rub it on the area. And then, you want to take just one square of toilet paper and reap it down, so it just like one ply. And, put right over the place where you put with. Pull back like that and reap off the excess. And, I am going to take a piece of toilet paper and I am just going to roll it into like a little stick. This maybe a side to your cut, take the other half of that piece of toilet. And, you just kind of lay it over what you already did. And so, you let that dry a little bit, and go and take you make-up. Basically, the general colors are the one you are going to use are skin tone and black. So, I am just going to take my cue tip, just dip in there, get some more in there, just put around nicely. Our last clip was send it by Tom F. and it is another light saver battle. I know what you might be thinking, I am getting sick of this light saver stuff, but this one is extra cool for couple of reasons: a) the compositing is really good; b) the choreography is awesome; and c) sometimes he is actually fighting a digital copy of himself. Watch it and see if you can tell which is which. [Music Playing] Fegrado [Demo] All right, that is it! Keep sending in your stuff to IndyMogul.com and if you do, you actually have a pretty good chance of getting on the show, so do it and we will see you next week. [Music Playing] Hosted by: Erick Beck Edited by Brad Udell Alex Gavin Thanks to all who sent in videos. Keep ‘em Coming
