Quacker(Vincent Hanna): Hello, it is Quacker. Come to Los Angeles, the sunshine is bright, the beaches are wide and inviting and the orange ground stretches as far as the eye can see. Los Angeles is better known as Hollywood’s backyard. Geoff: One of the most famous movies shut down here is LA Confidential. You might recognize this building from LA Confidential. So, this is where Buddy White dangled the DA from a window. When filmmakers want to get some true grit and authenticity they will come down the buildings like this, the Pacific Electric Building. Okay, so you can spend thousands and thousands of dollars trying to build something like this on the sound stage or you can get the true real deal stuff, right here. Awesome location right here, man. Awesome. Quacker: All of my friends at City Hall. It has started more than 50 movies and The Lateran practiced. It substituted as The Lateran and The Thorn Birds. This here is the fabulous Union Station, Chinatown, LA Confidential, Die Hard 2, good place to catch a train and a hot bagel. One of my favorite drinking spots is Bobs Frolic Room where they filmed the movie LA Confidential. It is on Hollywood Boulevard next to the Pantages Theater. LA Confidential was also shut at the Formosa Café in West Hollywood. This Chinese Restaurant was a regular hang out for Humphrey Bogart, Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable. Geoff: One of the coolest locations in LA is the Bradbury Building. This is where Ridley Scott shot Blade Runner. It is a national historic landmark. It has been here since 1893. It is open to the public. You can find it at the corner third on Broadway, Downtown. Quacker: Alright, at Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, California. There is Kate Mantilini where Robert De Niro and Al Pacino did their famous scene in the movie, Heat. Bear(Neil McCauley): A man told me once, you want to make moves, do not keep anything in your life you are not really to work out on me 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner. Quacker: What happen from there and I am going to put you away. I will not like it, but if it is between you and some poor bastard, his wife are not going to make him a widow, brother? You are going to go down. Remember dear readers you heard it here first, off the record, on the QT and very hush-hush.
