Hey, guys is just found a free and an open source software that is really cool. It allows me to see the biggest files on the hard drive. I say list at the top 500 biggest files, the ones that are taking up the most disks space on my hard drive and then I just click list largest files. I can select any drive so if you have externals too you can use this program on the externals. Again, it is completely free in open source, I have the link and the video description or you can search delfyforfun on Google and it will give you the page. It is under programs and utilities and it is right here. List largest files, but again I will have a link and the description so you can quickly access it. If you a Mac there is actually a several free programs you can use. My favorite is probably called grand perspective, that is the coolest program I have never seen. Basically a list of files visually and you can see the biggest blocks are obviously are the biggest files. So you can just click through the biggest files and see what is taking out of the most disk space visually. If you want to program like list large files you can check out JDISK report, just search for it on Google, here is the URL. I will have it in the video description also and the same thing for this one, ID design and the program name is called is what size, 10.3.92 is the current version. Again I will have it in the video description. So check them out. Also a quick real quick because I know a lot of people will try to correct me, you can also find the biggest folders with out this program by just using windows search. If you click the search button in any folder or you click windows key F or you go to start, search for files and folders. But the problem is I do not have the windows assistant dog which basically shows you a dog looking for files apparently. While you are searching, so I cannot really show you very well if you want the classic theme like I have you can search on Google XP classic search and it will tell you how to change it in the registry in order to get this look but it is also possible to do with the dog. I think you just have to click in advance option and you should have a little check box called size. And from there you can say find files with at least 100 mega bytes in size and it will give you all the folders, all the files in your hard drive that are over a 100 mega bytes. Anyways thanks for listening. You can see a full list of my videos by going to youtube.jimmyr.com. if you like my videos please subscribe, anyways thanks for listening.
