Fresh Manna Golden Nuggets Pastor Donald Topic: “Agreement” Good evening. I am Pastor Donald Smith, Senior Pastor of Fresh Manna Christian Center. I would like to thank you first of all for tuning into the show and just allow me to share with you with a long one. And, tonight I would like to take a few moments and I talked to you about is agreement. What is agreement mean? Biblically, agreement is position of authority. When we have agreement in our home, we have unity. The old saying when there is unity there is strength. Well, the foundation for unity is agreement. I will give you three scenarios such as a husband and wife. When there is agreement in the home, when the decisions made to children, where we going to live, how we can allocate the moneys, different decisions going to be made, when the husband and wife can come into an agreement that brings with authority into the home. And when there is authority, there is unity, and when you have unity, you can accomplish a whole lot more than you can when you do not have it. Agreement in the Bible is kind of like King David say, “When my heart is fixed and my mind is made up.” That means he was in agreement with him himself. What do you mean by that Pastor Smith? Well, often times in life, we can go through phases where we want to do one thing and do the next day, we are trying want to another thing, and the next day we want to do something else. We are not in agreement even within ourselves. And, when we will come in agreement, we can get our mind and our heart on the same page. We have absolute agreement within ourselves. And guess what? We knew with agreement with yourself and you are walking with you God’s word, He is in agreement with you. Now, how does that benefits you? It benefits you at several areas. 1. You have the favor of God. 2. You have the blessings of God. 3. God rules on your behalf because you are in agreement with his word, and when you have those things working in for you, that you can help but be blessed. Agreement also brings about of peace. When you have agreement in your life, it makes decision of life from the daily events of life much more peaceful. You know, it is kind of like this. If you have and take a walk to a nice meadow or to an ice wooded area or by beach, by the ocean, and it is calm and it is peaceful and you hear the waves, smashing against the rocks and hear the birds chirping you what have you. That allows you to have time of peace and tranquility, and allows you to bring the thoughts into agreement. And when you have agreement in your thoughts, it makes you and put you into a position to make sound good decisions to where you are not let the Bible calls says, “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways”. What was that mean? That means the person who is wishy-woshy. They do not quite know what they want to do. Now, there are a lot of things in life that can lead the person to be unstable, or lead the person--it calls the person not to be in agreement. But I promise you this. If you spend sometime in the Word of God and just do a study, look of every time you see the word agreement. You will find that when agreement is present, it brings a unity and it brings an asset to whatever there situation is. The final thing I would like to say to you tonight is that, the Bible says we are to agree our touching as agree. That means with two or more people come to an agreement on one thing, and God say he would be there in the midst. Two or more that is all you need.
