This is Scott's favorite. Challenge #5 is Grab a Bottle Cap. Speaker: Here we are for another one. Grab an empty bottle cap, any bottle cap will do. Then grab anybody who has some decent reflexes. You sir, you sir, you look like you have fast reflexes. What's your name? Marcin Delecki: Hi! I am Marcin. Speaker: He is Marcin. We love this kid. Thanks for coming. Alright, now what I want you to do, have my partner here hold out his hand, place the bottle cap in his hand. I am going to hold my hand above six right inches above his hand. Alright! Now we both got to keep our hands flat, none of this curving stuff, alright. I am going to sit back and the object of the game is just a pure speed thing. I am going to try to take the cap out of his hand before he has a chance to close his hand. You are ready? The Game Begins. Speaker: You are ready? I am sorry, you were not ready. You are ready? Here we go. Right! Oh what's? Are you curving, is he curving? I think he is curving, you are cheating. He is cheating. Just a sneak about, he totally was not ready. Alright, we will try it again. Flat, no cheating. Ready? Now what am I doing here. I am just playing with his mind. Pretty much, because I can and it's fun. That's part of the fun of our, right, because we are playing with each other. Now, if we were actually switching off, alright, then he was going to sort of take it out of my hand. What is this? You just see that, he can close up on his hand, once and for all. Alright. He would still -- see he would beat me as well. And actually, he knows the rule. Alright, but there is a certain trick to it. Does anybody know? It's something that will increase your arts, when we are back, you will figure it out. [Music] Pause now to think about it or -- Here is the solution to Grab a Bottle Cap, challenge #5. Did you play the Jedi mind trick? Speaker: Alright, we are back again. You figure it out. Now, what I am trying to do actually, instead of just going and grabbing it, I am doing two things that are going to increase my arts of winning. Alright, if you don't know the game, chances are I am going to beat you more often than not. Alright, is it just the speed and reflex thing. Marcin Delecki: Yeah. Speaker: Obviously we both have pretty decent reflexes, right, but there is a trick to it. What it is, is instead of going and grabbing for it, I make my hand very stiff here. Can we get a close up on this, on his hand? What I do is, I hit his hand down. So I hit his hand down, so it's coming down and the cap is going to pop up. Alright, so in two ways I am increasing my art. So it pops up and I just close my hand. We will show you a little slow more on that. Just kidding. Don't mess with me, I am probably going to win or I don't know. Marcin Delecki: Nine or ten times? Speaker: Probably nine out of ten times. Here is a few ideas I am going to use these tricks. Speaker: Alright, who is a good person to bet with, who is a good person to have a challenge with? Well, he will be drinking. People who are just, just waking up, people who are not quite with it are good people to bet with. Take the dollars for sure. Who are bad people to bet with? Probably irritable, strange crazy, unhappy people. Be careful with that, but yeah it's just a dollar, just a drink, it's no big deal and as long as you do it with fun. Never try to embarrass somebody like, the last one we just did with the cash in the bottle cap. You want to present it as just a game of speed, you don't want to necessary tell these tricks to anybody. Because they don't have to especially that one, right. You can beat ten people in a row, and no one ever has to know that there is a specific way you are increasing your art, alright. But, to be good about it. The whole goal for those whole videos is just to make friends with people, not hey, I am really cool, look at me. It's just -- hey, let's having some fun together, alright. It's a dollar, no big deal.
