Hi, I’m Michael. I am here to talk to you about Halloween safety.
Although it’s a fun time and one of the greatest times in a kids life, it also could be quite dangerous, so I’m here to tell you about some things to consider. Halloween safety tips.
One of the most important rules is to don’t take food from strangers. Only go to the homes that you know because you will never know what you’re going to get from people you don’t know. For example, a common thing not to take is a fruit, something unwrapped and opened. Now during the 80’s and maybe even part of the late 70’s, there were scares where people put razor blades inside the apples. These days, that’s less of the concern because we use safety razors.
And other thing that was popular and not a big deal was plastic guns. Plastic guns are now very dangerous, and no one, Halloween or any other day of the year, should be taking them outside, especially children. Police officers don’t know if they’re real no matter what color they are. So, another tip is to don’t take plastic guns even if they just spray water and not bullets.
Another tip is silly string. It’s not so silly when someone sprays it into your eye—it blinds you. So, if you do have silly string, make sure you don’t point it at anyone, and if you do, they are at least six feet away from you. Never do this [Demonstration]. Luckily I was warring protective gears. This thing still and I wouldn’t recommend anyone do that ever, ouch! To continue tips, I suggest you go to certain website such as Halloween safety, that URL which I’m going to purchase right after this episode. And I’m going to put this video on it, so you can view these tips anytime in addition to websites such as 5min.com.
