Bikinis, sunscreen, babes and booze… [Music Playing] So just how students get in shape for most notorious week of the entire year? Female 4: I have a friend over B.C. and they are working out a lot and definitely eating less so that they can look good in there bathing suits. Female 2: I have not changed my eating habits drastically. I just try to incorporate more fruits and vegetables because the past couple of weeks I have not. [Music Playing] -Increase fruits and vegetables intake. -Keep a food journal. -Avoid refined carbs, like pizza and bagel. Male 1: I always want to impress the ladies but--. Female 4: Yes, I go to the gym like maybe three times a week. Female 5: My roommates always tell me, I am pretty lazy when going to the gym. Female 2: I have been trying to stick going to the gym five to six times a week. [Music Playing] -Do cardio for 30-60 minutes 5-6 days/week. -Strength train 3-4 days/week. Male 1: I have not been eating healthy. I have been exercising a lot so maybe a little bit spring break. Female 1: Last year I went on a spring break where I have a friend who went to the gym everyday for a month. But it could be change after that so. Female 4: Everyone is looking good in their bathing suits so I should think a lot of times there. It is a lot of fresher when you do that. The culture of thinness and fat phobia have made eating disorders and “body battling” a serious problem on college campuses. Female 5: I know girls when on the college change diet and only it cuts for the two weeks for the spring break to make sure they could look good and go into the gym instead. Female 3: There are multiple people who never usually seen the gym, for only eight the customers their.
