Hi! This is Michael from KidSafe, and I am going to show you how to baby proof your door lever with the KidCo Door Lever Lock.
To install the door lever lock, snap the housing on to the handle. That's now in place. Put the other housing onto that that simply puts it in place. Now you are ready for the adhesive last part of the assembling that simply sticks in place here, and prevents it from turning.
The third piece of the assembly is the lock. You peel off the adhesive, you line it up with the slot in the top here, and you press it into place. The lock is now ready to use. To operate it, all you have to do is push up and open the door. The lock automatically resets itself when you let go of the hand.
The door lever lock can also be operated from the backside of the door without having to engage the two.
