The first tip for being a great host is circulate amongst your equally. Make your guests feel like they are lucky to be there, that they are kings and queens for the day.
One of my favorite tips for being a wonderful host is to make sure that your bathroom is party ready. Make sure that you have a calendar on hand, make sure that you have wonderful hand towels, lots of toilet paper, maybe even some blossom and tea candles. Another tip of being a great host, and I know you don't want to hear this, but try not to get too drunk at your own party. You really want to be on your game, when you are socializing, and I am sure you would like to remember what happened the night before, cheers to that tip. Oops!
The main tip of being a wonderful host at your own event is to have fun, relax. It should not be stressful. It's not a funeral, it's a celebration, and that is your party planning style secret.
