Hi, where going to clean some windows. But we are going to dispel some mist about window cleaning now also.
In the past, newspaper used to be very good. But newspaper is no longer absorbent. It is printed on with inkjet printers. So, it is not as good as it used to be in the past for keeping the window dry.
Paper towel, we know often lint, but I have found to be the best are coffee filters. They fit nicely on the hand and they leave no lint when you are cleaning.
Now to clean a window, I just let a little bit of detergent and nothing much, just a little drop or two, then I will take a cloth. Wash cloth, bring it out, wipe down the window, then you grab your coffee filter—no lint, no finger prints, no problem.
