Would you like fries with that?
This is not a question that you really want to practice. I will tell you why in just second.
How NOT To Drop Out Of College In The 1st 6 Weeks.
So, we are going to do what can do to avoid having the practice this question. There is a Professor out of Mount Claire University in New Jersey. From sometime ago came out with some recommendations just how to survive the first six with to college which of course is an adjustment period which is perfectly normal.
You can, have many apprehensions or fear because that is okay. You are going to get through it. Just, use these five tips.
1. Treat our roommates as if they are your best friends, even if they are not.
2. Assume nothing, no matter your question. Keep asking until 2 people give the answer.
3. Got a problem? Someone on campus can help. Go to Head of Residence, or got to Dean of Students.
4. Do not be intimidated. College looks are difficult, really is.
5. When everyone seems smarter than you, remember this quote:
“College is human fountain of knowledge, a few come to drink, a few com to sip, and, unfortunately, the rest come to gargle.”
And, be sure to ask the magic question, can you help me? This is a question that empowers a person who hears it. Who gets a sense of value and everybody wants to communicate that value back by helping you.
Use with your friends, your neighbors, you parents, your kids, your co-workers and once the magic resolves, you are going to be just fine.
Good luck to you. I am Paul Hamco.
