Okay, let us move the site window back over here. What is the site window?
We should talk about that for a minute. Well, we will get into very great detail about the site window and some of the later lessons. But for now, you just need to know that this is where you will keep all of the files that you are using while you are building your site. And you can open files here in the site window by double clicking on one. So, I am going to open up this page index.html.
You will remember, this was a pre-made site that we got from the samples in the new document dialog box, right? So that was already made for us. But the reason why I wanted to open the document window is so that I could show you something about the Toolbar. The Toolbar can be found across the top of the screen.
Now, not to be confused with the tool pallet, which is the guy over on the left, the Toolbar offers you different tools and it is context sensitive. That means the tools that show up there are going to be different according to what you are working on. So, right now, I have a document window in front, that is this guy right here and you will see, I have tools appropriate for working in a document, text tools, align tools, things like that.
But if I were to put my site window back in the front which I can do by going here on the right and clicking this button, it brings the site window back to the front. Now, you will see the tools are quite different because these are tools that I would use if I were organizing a site. I can create a new folder here. I can upload files to the web server or download files, check links and things like that.
