Just sitting here in my friend’s cottage and I have been here for half a week already and he asked me to come here and I do not have to do anything and I do not have to give anything money or anything like that which is kind of cool concerning the fuel prices are so high.
I’ve been working on a blanket for him as an appreciation for him to allow me to be here. And I was looking at this couch here and I noticed that it had a brown and beige coloring in the couch. So I decided, you know what I am going to make a little blanket as a thank you. So, then when I look at it, what kind would I use for a color.
So I look at and it seemed kind of like the reddish, kind of purplish on his pillows, so I decided to use the Katherine’s wheel stitch for him that would fit for this couch. I am now two weeks into my project here and if you want to look on how to do the Katherine wheels stitch, just do a research on the Katherine wheel stitch and you too can find exactly how to do it.
The sample that I did that you’ll see is a different color because I not showing how to make this particular coordination if you know what I mean. The stitches are all the same. It is just in different color, so that is one thing that I love about crochet, you can just transfer color to match whatever you are trying to achieve.
So, I think this is going to be really cool and this kind of a stitch takes a long kind to do so. I am more than quarter was through but it is very time consuming and I find it kind of a little bit stressful on the hands. I am just doing all these pinwheels and that’s it for now.
